Folks you have to burn more calories in a day than you eat. That's it.

Let's do the math ....
- Burn 3500 calories from stored fat and you will lose 1 pound
Let's assume you burn 2000 calories a day with your usual day-to-day activities.
- So if you eat only 1500 calories a day by carefully watching your diet, then..
- You have burned: 2000 - 1500 = 500 calorie from your stored fat
- In a week (500 x 7), you will burn 3500 calories and lose 1 pound in that week.
If you add walking 30 minutes briskly with arms swinging then you could burn an additional 500 calories in a day. This will push you to
losing 2 pounds in a week.
The Fast Weight Loss Diet
You cannot escape keeping track of how many calories are in the food that you eat and how much you have eaten in a day. Please don't fool yourself into thinking that you can keep it all in your head - at least not a first. Keep a list of the calories in the food that you typically eat and keep track of what you eat during the day to ensure that you are burning calories from your stored fat.
Here are some fast weight loss diet and loose fat guidelines:
- Junk food is almost entirely empty calories. They have little or no nutritional value and just go straight into stored fat. Don't eat junk food.
- For snack foods only eat the Negative Calorie foods like celery, carrots, apples and oranges. This will help you to achieve the fastest weight loss.
- Read labels. Many products have quite a bit of fat and added sugars. Avoid them.
- Find sugar-free salad dressings and soda pops.
- When thristy, drink water. That is what you body wants anyway.
- Don't skip meals and especially don't skip breakfast. You want your metabolism going to burn fat for weight loss fast.
- Eat 5-6 smaller meals during the day rather than 3 big meals.
- Always complete yur evening meal at least 2 hours before retiring.
